I bought fences software, I see fences 2 is good with Win 7. But Fences 3 is making windows Freeze for 8 to 10 seconds, some times more when we click Show Desktop. Do we have any fix on this?
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Would like to know about your system. Please provide information such as Windows version Fences version, System hardware and do you have program like "Websense or Forcepoint" installed in your system?

OS is Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit. I am using fences latest version 22.214.171.124. I dont have Websense or Forcepoint installed in my system.
Also as i mentioned when we click on show desktop, more than 20 seconds screen is frozen. It happens every time.
Thank you for your reply. For your information, I am also running my pc on Windows 10 Pro 64 ver 1803 and Fences 126.96.36.199 but i do not have problem with it.
First, please try the purge and reinstall steps : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling
make sure you are using the latest version when reinstalling the Fences and reboot after installation.

I am using Version 10.0.15063 Build 15063.
I also tried to purge, issue remain same.
For your info I am currently on Version 1803 build 17134.112.
BTW, just curious do you have portal fences that linked to network drive or a cloud storage?
Could you try the cleanboot steps https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#cleanboot just to iron-out if there is conflicting with fences.

Nothing works with Fences. Best way is to uninstall and stay away from it, Fences causing explorer to crash every time we do Win D. Its useless with Win 10.
I strongly recommend not to use fences anymore with Win 10
Its waste of time and money to spend on this app.
Sorry to hear you are having issues. We have not clearly try out all the steps to see if this can be solved. Fences run fine on Windows. There are a very small percentage of client who have problem, initially, but after working together with us. The problem was solved or at least narrowed down to the main issue. But to get to that it take time and patience.
