Ok, thanks. That does help. It clears up my confusion about #3 because if that is how it works, then it is not working for me.
Here is a screenshot of my desktop. You can see that I have several windows snapped to the bottom of my upper monitor, and they all have rolled up. I moved my mouse over the one called 'Controller Layouts' and it has unrolled for me. And in the Fences Settings window you can see that I do not have that #3 Option checked to roll up fences at the edge of the screen. So they should not roll up.
However, they do function they same way as non-docked to the edge windows do. I can turn on rollup fence for that window with title bar double click and the View menu item checkmark. And this does turn rollup fence on or off for that window. But the #3 option does not have any effect or change the rollup functionality in any way than a normal non-docked to the edge window.
So, either I am greatly confused, which is possible. Or this does not work.
Actually, the Snapping problem when trying to align windows is a much bigger problem. It took forever to align all of the windows that I have. Should I keep the 'Keep Fences lined up when moving' option turned off? I always had that one, but that may be my problem as it seems to make it snap in odd places.
