Yeah I have been using start 8 on windows 10 also with 0 issues, no update wont allow to install so they force you to buy start 10, whel stardocks pull short end here, I wont get start 10, and just keep using non updated version of start 8 and wont buy any more products of you people.
I would have bought start 10 if could get at least 50% off price for owning start 8, same probley happen with windowsblinds so I probley.
So start 8 forme and it works, and who needs support on something that works, no problems so why would I chance it.
As explained on previous threads there are issues with Start8 on Windows 10. For example the search field on the taskbar will be overlapping existing pinned / running applications. There are other problems too with the Modern UI applications list showing applications which will not launch, incorrect icons, incorrect matching of the menu colour to the OS colour scheme etc. You may not have noticed problems, but they are there. Start10 also offers many new things such as the new Modern look theme, support for blur, correct colour scheme handling, new texture options, new tile mode option, additional taskbar control options allowing you to colour the taskbar for example or add your own texture.
Start10 is available for a discount to you if you own Start8. It would be $3.99 vs the usual $4.99 so that's 20% off. Unfortunately at such a low price point it is not viable to offer discounts larger than that as the store overheads become a problem.
