The reboot of StarControl will be from the point of first Chenjesu contact to the beginning of SC1.

It will have to not rely on any of the previous games and should preferably not interfere with existing lore.

Why not make the beginning point a little bit earlier? Start 2085 instead of 2112.

Players new to the universe would have easier time playing a Humans? Why not play as Humans+ ?

I want to suggest Androsynth as protagonists.

They already had Hyperspace capabilities before Humans got contacted by the crystals, so same technological start.

The clones can fly around and meet old races, as well as many new smaller races that were later exterminated by Ur-Quans and stayed unknown to Humanity.

Absolutely free designs and specifications of the ships, because the Guardians were only contacted during SC1
