I've recently become paralyzed in my right hand (which happens to also be my mousing hand) and so I am limited to the types of games that I can play games such as this elemental legendary heroes or civilization 5 or a couple of other turn-based games.
Being that I now have to use a Logitech trackpad and got to use it in my only available hand, left hand, which is the only hand I have available to use when playing games, it would be extremely useful if I could change the way hotkeys are set up in the game.
For example, if I could change the enter key to something such as the left control key as well as change around any other hotkeys that happen to be on the right side of the keyboard over to keys that are not being used on the left side of the keyboard would be very helpful for me.As it is now, yes I could say "press enter" for the game to press the enter key but it would be far more convenient if I could just press my control key with my left thumb instead of saying press enter or having to reach over and press the enter key on the keyboard with my left hand.
Basically I just want to change keys functions that I use quite often, held just being able to change the enter key to my control key would be a huge boon for me.
Please consider adding some sort of a hot sheet That is either inside the game or just some sort of an .ini file that I can change around the hotkeys in to make it more convenient for players that only have one hand to play with.
As it is now, I'm using a combination of my left hand to use a trackpad as well as my voice recognition system to do simple tasks such as holding down the left mouse or right mouse button etc. and of course this is how I am able to write these messages on the forum (with voice recognition software).
tldr; in short I'm asking that the developers Give us a way to change the hotkeys in the game so that I can continue playing this great game using only my left hand and feel comfortable doing while playing. On top of which let's face it, this is 2013 the ability to change hotkeys is not something new..
