The more I'm around males, the more I understand their brains (or lack thereof) and how they work. I'll never, in this life, be able to fully comprehend what runs through their minds. I know some boys are more obsessed with these then others. But, I really don't understand why. Of course, this is a hasty generalization, but I can do that, because so often times it's true.
Sex. I mean, I'm sure sex is great, but why does that have to run through their minds every 3 seconds? I guess God made them that way, but don't they have any control, not even over their own thoughts? Are there any boys out there who can't see a gorgeous girl without undressing her in his mind, without picturing her giving him head? It seems like it's constantly running through their minds.
Sports. Sports are awesome, but they don't control my life. I don't stay home on a Monday night just because it's football. I'm not so into the screen that I can't pay attention to anything else. Have your brother/boyfriend/dad ever been watching a game and you have to say their name 8 times, the last time shouting, before you capture their attention in the least bit? And even then, they don't look away from the screen. All you get is a little "huh?"
Competition. Is it for us girls? Is that why they do it, they get so competitve to prove to us that they are the dominant male? Just like dogs piss next to the mailbox to stake their territory, males seem as though they have to prove something to the world by beating other guys at whatever it is. And, if they lose they either have to beat the guy up, cuss him out, or just think about doing them. If a boy thinks that another guy likes his girlfriend he's ready to slit the guys throat. They feel threatened by other males. They don't want any other guy to be better at stuff than they are. But to sum this part up, I have to say, sadly, this isn't so much a male thing as a cultural and societal thing. I know I'm the same way. I don't want girls to beat me at stuff; I don't want a girl to be prettier or smarter than me. I want to beat them, and I suppose when they beat me, I wouldn't mind taking them out.
Video Games. I think at a certian age, guys outgrow this. (At least I'm hoping so) What is it with mindless games? Are there no boys out there who like to play skill-building games, instead of mindless games? Killing each other and racing seems to be favorites.
Cars. Cars freaking rock. Speed rocks. I'm a girl and I can say that, but I don't know every single car out there, and I don't go 80 in 35 (cough cough). I mean, come on! Being in love with cars isn't that bad a thing, I just don't see how it can be so intruiging. Isn't it that Shania Twain song where she says "you kiss your car goodnight..."? LoL
Well, even my boyfriend admitted to me the other day that all (well, almost all) guys think about is sex and sports. Granted, there are a few more, like beer, junk food, etc. but why guys, why?!?! Okay, enough of my boring ranting... moving on... to great things like painting my nails, getting a facial at the spa, going shopping, drinking tea. j/k!
