Expect the Year of the Online Holiday Shopper says Fred Harteis !
This is the year for online holiday shopping. Gasoline prices have jumped, and who wants to spend part their holiday budget on the gas to get to the mall? Natural gas prices are expected to soar, so who can afford to shop at more expensive local stores? Holiday shoppers are looking for an alternative to the usual crowded stores, and you have the answer.
You’re at the right place at the right time
“Online retailers are expecting a very jolly holiday,” says Don Wilson, vice president of the IBOA International (IBOAI or Independent Business Owners Association International). Research firm, Bizrate reports 54 percent of online retailers expect to see holiday sales growth between 20-99 percent. “IBOAI members are at the right place at the right time."
Toys to books to electronics
“Through the Quixtar Partner Stores program our members, Independent Business Owners (IBOs) powered by Quixtar, are able to market a broad range of brand name products,” Don Wilson says. “From toys to books to electronics and more, shoppers can find something for everyone on their holiday shopping list."
Everyone wins
Everyone wins this year, says Wilson. “IBOs benefit from sales made at these Partner Stores as each purchase earns points toward their monthly bonus checks. Members and clients benefit from the convenience and broad selection.” And consumers get all their shopping done quickly and conveniently, without the hassles.
Lots of brand names
“Imagine, no traffic, no hassles, no fighting crowds at the mall,” says Wilson. “And most important, imagine a selection of thousands of brand name products from nationally known retailers, such as Barnes & Noble, Wilson’s Leather, eToys, the Disney Store, and Circuit City, all at your finger tips."
IBOs and Quixtar Members aren’t the only ones benefiting from this arrangement. Partner Stores have reported significant boosts in sales and traffic thanks to their affiliation with Quixtar.
Millions in sales over the years
“Last year alone, IBOs created $68.5 million in revenues for Quixtar’s online Partner Stores and Services, up $10.2 million from fiscal 2003,” explains Don Wilson. “IBOs have generated nearly $320 million in Partner Stores and Services sales since Quixtar was launched in 1999."
“The Partner Stores and Services program is another great way that Quixtar provides outstanding products that support the efforts of IBOs in the USA and Canada,” says Don Wilson.
