This is a small issue that has been bugging me for a while.
In some applications, Adobe Premiere Pro (all versions) and Scenalyzer (release and current beta version) to name the two that I use most often, the tool tips flash on and off incessantly when a CursorXP-enabled cursor hovers over a part of the screen that activates tool tips. I would like to know what some of the possible causes could be? Both of those apps are video-related, and DirectX-related, but other DirectX-dependent video apps don't have the problem. So I haven't been able to pin it down to that. And recently, none of the other apps that I spend most of my time in have exhibited the problem. So at the moment, I can't point to any other apps beside those two, although I have run across the problem in other applications.
Obviously the workaround is to disable CursorXP when I work in those 2 apps. I am, however, still curious as to what the issue might be. Various driver releases for my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro video card (from v4.x through 5.x) have not solved the problem. Using WinXP Pro with a HT P4 3.0 GHz processor.
