I'm forming a pirate crew

We set sail at dawn

So in an earlier discussion I was talking about international travel and hoopa had the brilliant idea to instead simply travel to international waters and become pirates. So I thought I'd begin by assembling a crew. So if you'd like to join my pirate voyage please respond with your desired pirate name and if possible a pirate joke.

Original post: yo instead of moving to another country. Why not visit the profound untapped potential of international waters . We should pirates Arrrr.

I'll go with Alowishus Twoblade
As for my joke...did you hear about that new pirate movie?
It's rated Arrrr!

PS - I'm in no way set on being captain, in fact, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't qualify as a first mate.

Lots of pirates still out there. Especially around Indonesia and the Phillipines. Scary people, too.

Hey BakerStreet, you sound pretty knowledgeable in the pirate realm, I'd love to have you join the crew. But BakerStreet doesn't exactly strike fear in the hearts of our enemies, who at this time, remain unknown...perhaps we should keep it that way.

Dan and Nicky - nice names and jokes. This idea gets better and better everyday. Ya know here in MN we have 10,000+ lakes and I have a canoe. Perhaps we can just terrorize the rich bastards in their ocean worthy yahts around here.

We'll need some supplies too, anyone have a spare cannon lying around or an oak barrel full of rum?

aye aye matey, i've been searchin' fer another crew since me last one broke up, most of 'em ended up in the gallows... i barely escaped with me skin in tact.

they call me Mighty Strange Jack, MJ fer short. I'm a heart breaker n a fool for a pretty maiden all at the same time. But i only wants to join if we plan to do some rapin' an' pillagin'... for that's the life a pirate aye...

I propose that we elect the captain an' first mate based on who 'as the best joke. So far it's "Alowishus Twoblade" edgin' out the competition in that dept...

A pirate walks into a bar with this enormous steering wheel stuck down his pants. The bartender can’t help but ask, “What’s with the steering wheel?” “ARRRRGGH,” the pirate answers, “it’s drivin’ me nuts.”

Well I don't know about the rapin', unless it's consensual of course, but I can guarantee a rousin' amount of pillagin'. but MJ, that is a classic joke and I must say I enjoyed it immensely.
