Well, the myelogram didn't go according to plan.
I leaked cerebrospinal fluid from the puncture wound in my back, and ended up with the worst headache and backache I've ever had. Ever.
I got kept in for observation, was given copious amounts of narcotics to help witht he pain, and even now I'm home I'm on bed rest for the next 48 hours. I can't be upright for more than 15 mins at a time without getting a killer headache, and my legs are still a bit numb.
My kids had to go to my friend's house overnight (thank god for Kim and Kerry) and my poor husband got woken up in the middle of the night and told to call me because I was in the hospital. He was a little panicked, to say the least.
So, it WAS that bad, and it really kind of sucked.
Thank goodness I won't have to get this test done again.
