I think they will loose their Mac market unless this new version pulls something special out of the bag. Dashboard, for all its sins, is IMO just as good as Konfabulator - and like most new widget programs, there is a whole slew of new widgets being made (and like most that will propbably tail off in the coming weeks).
Perhaps they should stick to the Windows market, even with the competition (DX3, Kapsules, Avedesk, Samurize etc) they should be able to make more money in this market due to the shear number of Windows users.
