"In May's issue of Success Magazine, there is an article called 'So, You Want to Start Your Own Business?'. This article focuses on the three keys to successfully starting a home based business. I thought I'd write about one in particular that personally struck home with me. The second key titled 'In Search of Financial Freedom' says the following:
'May people think the reason start a business is so that you can make a lot of money. The primary reason that people turn to owning their own business, however, is for the sense of personal freedom it offers.'
Goodness, in my eyes, this could not have summed it up in better words. Personal freedom, one of the greatest opportunities of 'Life in the United States'- but the one we most take for granted. So many of my friends, family, acquaintances are slaved to the world of working for someone else or some other mega-super-duper corporation, helping the owners live out their personal freedom.
