When I was younger I was always so much taller than everyone else my age. All of the doctors told my mother that they were expecting me to be about 5`7. All of the other women in the family averaged around 5 foot even, so this was such a shock to my parents. My mother, who's only about 5`4 was so amazed that her little girl was going to be the tallest female in the family.
Evidently, there were other plans for me.
When I reached junior high, I leveled off at about 5`2 and have been there ever since. I absolutely hate it! To this day I still get comments like, "Oh my gosh, you are so tiny!" "Are you considered a midget?!"
This gets super annoying. First off, clothes do not fit me the same as they would someone who is of average height. Even pants that are labled "short" are still about 3 inches too long. Shirts are another difficulty....with a 34 D chest, I cannot buy the largest size in the petite department. The shirts in the women's department are usually too bulky in the shoulders and long on my arms.
If I were just a little bit taller I beleive that life would be easier. I could see over any steering wheel, I wouldn't be mistaken for a teenager, and my pants would fit correctly.
AHHH I hate being short!!
