I'm pretty sure all of you have heard of the dating websites that they have on this thing. Personally I think they're so stupid. But no offense to any of you on here who might have found their wife or husband through one of them. If that's what you wanted then more power to you. Don't ask me why I'm even writing about this. I guess it's because I was watching tv earlier and there was a commercial on there about that e-harmony dating website. I started talking about it with my mom. And we both said how stupid it was.
Do you really find love on those sites? I mean yeah there are a lot of people out there on the site to look at. But what about someone who is right there in front of you? What if you'd be better off with them? Instead you chose to go to what ever site it is that you went to and found someone. And hey, they might be so 'perfect' for you. But I've heard of too many people who meet this person on a website and they only know them for like 3 months. They haven't seen them or anything. They've only talked to them on the internet. Then they all of a sudden get married. How can you possibly do that? Wouldn't you want to meet the person first? Or get to know them even better. There is no possible way that you could know that person inside and out without knowing them for awhile. They could tell you one thing on the internet, but be the total opposite in person.
Maybe once people meet each other and find that it's not what they want, yet they still get married, maybe they think that they're doing the right thing by marrying this person or something. I think that looking for love on the internet is being lazy. If you really wanted to find love then you'd get up off of your butt and do it. You shouldn't make it that easy for yourself. You should make it more like an adventure. Life is fun when you have adventures. But maybe you prefer the easy way. And I guess that's okay too, if that's what you really want.
But when you find someone on the dating websites, are you really finding love? Maybe that's a stupid question that I'm asking. Maybe it's more like an opinion question. I don't know. Just a question that I have. Maybe it's like when they say; "You're really not missing out, until you look past the one who cares about you the most." Or maybe it's not. I guess that's more of one's opinioin too.
But what ever I guess. I would like some opinions though. Maybe someone can answer my questions.
