John remembered the Kids' Zone at Kapaun air station. It's like a Chuck E. Cheese, or Discovery Zone. Except it's pretty much free unless you decide to buy pizza or something. Woohoo! We'd forgotten all about that place! Michael is just now at the age where he could appreciate something like that.
We pulled up at a quarter to seven, I jumped out to see what their hours are, and they were closing at seven! So we determined to get 15 minutes of playtime. Michael really needed it. We all did.
I had just as much fun as Michael did, I'm pretty sure. What a great excuse to play on all the fun stuff. Having a kid! We were sure he'd throw a fit when we had to leave, but he was just fine. He had fun, and didn't complain when it was time to go. We even eeked out an extra 15 minutes of playtime without getting kicked out. I think it helped when they shut off the electricity and everything got real quiet in there. Time to go.
