OMG, I am so unbelievably sick......

.....something had to be done

Yesterday I finally got up the gumption to get my sick ass off the couch and go to an emergent care clinic and get something to get this horrible crud outta my body…ears and throat hurt, coughing up rubber cement, can’t breathe laying down, so can’t sleep, and so on…if you haven’t had it yet, good for you…anyway, he gives me stuff for my nose (nasonex), stuff to kill stuff (biaxin), and an rx for a cough medicine I’ve never heard of before….this crap has 10mg of time realease hydrocodone in every teaspoon, plus an antihistamine…it’s guaranteed nighty-night in a bottle…anyway. I took some at bedtime, like I was ‘sposed too, but then in the middle of night was up taking more ibuprofen and guaifenesin, and I was totally spaced, so I dosed myself again with the narcotic stuff, unware of it’s time-release properties or it’s 12 hour dosing (cuz no one told me 8-( …I’m lucky I got up at all this morning, and I’m still wiped out…..tussionex pennkinetic is mighty powerful stuff….guess I’m lucky I have the constitution of a horse….

Sorry to hear you're feeling so poorly. Please be careful with the medications. It really does pay to read the prescription directions and the supplied information sheets.

Hydrocodone is pretty strong stuff. I am taking it in pill form for pain relief for my broken hip. Please be careful with it.

Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon. That crud is really going around. I know several people who have it or have had it.
