Well, my first day off was a pretty good one. This is actually my 3rd day off seeing that I had to take Wednesday and Thursday for my oldest son. The actual diagnosis that I was given by his pediatrician was "He's got the crud.." The 'crud' yielded forth a good 3 days of temps in excess of 102 degrees. However, the little man is doing much better and he's getting back to his mischievous ways quickly.
I took the boys to see the new Looney Toons movie, and they really enjoyed it. I must say that I also found it amusing....I guess I'm just a kid inside...I wouldn't have it any other way.
I got an email from my friend Judy today about a per diem job that I was asking her about. I worked with Judy a couple of years ago at the federal correctional complex. She now works for Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital, and she gave me some good news..she can get me hired for per diem work immediately. I'm excited to have the opportunity to do some hospital work...it'll be different taking care of folks who aren't all wearing white..Anyway, it's a blessing. I could use the extra money for the holidays. (My family just doesn't know how fortunate they are to have me around, lol...)
I read on the AOL headlines that all taxpayers should see an increase in their returns of approximately 27%, and the average family should get around $2500. We shall see.... Well, I guess I'll end this entry here. There's an hour block of "Roseanne" coming on Nick at Night in about 20 minutes. Let's see what I can go learn. Goodnight.
