I went out tonight to watcjh "Kill Bill" at Rob
Place, and I just have to tell the world that "Kill Bill" really rocks! This is
one hell of a kick ass flick with so much fashionably crafted action sequences!
Whew! It blew me up, really. I'm not really a Tarantino fan,but I have to say
Kudos to his genius!!! Well, I dunno. I'm not good at giving reviews, but there
was never a dull moment in this movie. Gogo's character in the story is really
intriguing. Why would a 17 year-old Japanese school girl play bodyguard for the
Queen of Tokyo's Underground Army (or whatever they really call it). I was so
amused by the screenplay. I must say, it's one of the best!!! To me it's a smart
fusion of humor and drama...Oh I remember that part when Uma's character got
back on Vivica's in the movie, and they're playing long lost acquaintances in
the presence of Vivica's daughter Nikki. The *bitch* conversation over coffee,
ended in a colorful "Kaboom" explosion and an innocent scenery of a blade tucked
into Vermita's (Vivica) bosom. Well, my favorite action sequence is that of Uma
(The Bride) and the rest of O-Ren's (Lucy Liu) army, with a militia of shadows
cut and thrust against a background of faint blue shaft of light. What a visual
knock-out!!! Yeah!!! I'm really raving about this movie, and nowhere will I find
carnage in all of its brutal discharge so artistically executed. All of the
characters rock! Quentin Tarantino is really a genius!!! Imma waiting for Volume
2.
