Hi, I just purchased the Fences 6 (single user, permanent license) for my Fences 3 upgrade. Then, I downloaded the Fences Installer and tried to run the ‘Fences6_setup’ as ‘administrator’. However, the installation process failed as error shown below:
I tried to restart my laptop but the issue remains.
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know your Windows. Is it on Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get these numbers.

If you have Windows 11 Pro try installing in Windows Sandbox as a test and see if the same error appear: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1416560645/Testing+Fences+in+Sandbox.

I turned on the Windows Sandbox but still getting the same error.
Please try, uninstall Fences, reboot immediately (important), re-download Fences 6 latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.
