I recently upgraded to Multiplicity 3.6, it works well overall; however the Primary PC (Windows 10) intermittently loses contact with the Secondary (Windows 11). I have not been able to identify any time span or event that occurs to provoke the disconnect.
The Multiplicity secondary client (on the Windows 11 machine) always shows as active. Configuring the remote Secondary on the Primary results in a "Failed to Connect" error, with the message "Please check the firewall settings on the secondary...", which I've done repeatedly.
Sometimes it reconnects on its own within a few seconds, sometimes it will reconnect after a longer period (in the mean time I use my hardware KVM Switch); other times it doesn't reconnect at all for an extended period.
When it doesn't reconnect on its own, sometimes using the "Restart Multiplicity Processes" menu item allows it to reconnect. When that doesn't work, I typically have to reboot the Primary, sometimes the Secondary also; which is a pain to do (hence using the hardware KVM as a backup).
Any thoughts on how to diagnose this further or what I might be missing?
