Hello Stardock team,
I've been using fences for a few years now.
(Since version 2.xx)
I regularly work on one computer via Microsoft RDP.
The native resolution when I'm directly on the device is WQHD and most of the devices I use to access via RDP are "only" Full HD.
As a result, my fences regularly shift and the alignment, width, etc. no longer fit.
My previous approach was to take a snapshot every few weeks and then restore it almost daily.
I'm currently using the new Fences version 5.x (still as a demo, but will certainly upgrade my license again.)
I was hoping in this new version there would finally be a few command line arguments that you can append to fences.exe.
things like
fences.exe /savesnapshot ">path\file<"
fences.exe /restoresnapshot ">path\file<"
This would make creating and restoring snapshots much easier as it allows you to automate it.
There are a few old threads here in the forum that have already asked about exactly this topic, but they are apparently all so out of date that no one responds to them anymore.
Is it that hard to get a Fences version with command line support?
Greetings
