Hello,
it would be very convenient if Deskcapes would support Split Screens / monitor zones. There are more big monitors on the market and widescreen (curved or not) on a lower prize.
I have now a widescreen monitor (5120x1440) and working with it is really fun. Unfortunately using the whole monitor for office applications is just too big. So at first I used FacyZones to create two zones where I can restrict my windows. Now I switched over to DisplayFusion as it offers several very useful functionalities, such as maximizing in one zone.
With the new widescreen monitor I still have three monitors as before, but my 1920x1080 is turned by 90°.
Now I have two things that I can't solve.
First, I can't make a special background per zone. I know that DisplayFusion has such a part, but it is let's say, not a good solution at all.
Second, due to the fact that one monitor is turned I need a special setting for this monitor when it comes to stretching and so on. The settings of my widescreen also differs from my normal 4k monitor.
I fear the zones might be a problem as I could imagine that every program on the market defines it in another way (perhaps there is a windows functionality they use, I have no idea).
Yours
Loeffel
