I've encountered an issue with audio sharing. I am running the 3.57-j68 beta version that was released to fix the Everquest 64bit bug. I have a 4-box setup with my primary machine as "receiver" and three senders.
One of my "send" machines just stopped sending audio altogether. I've used this machine for around 2 years with no audio sharing issues at all. Currently this machine can receive audio, but will not send. And otherwise the sound plays fine through internal speakers. It's an old machine running Windows 7. I made sure "allow this machine to be unmuted" is checked. I've rebooted and reinstalled multiplicity on the primary and secondary machines. I tried some of the troubleshooting tips found here --
Audio Sharing Issue
-- including running MPportfix on the sender and receiver machines, sending audio to the IP address instead of the name, and disabling windows 7/8 jack detection. I tried changing the audio passcode. But I've been totally unable to get this machine to start sending audio again. I've made no changes to my setup. The only issue that occurred before this was that about a week ago, audio sharing stopped working on all three of my "senders" and I had to reboot all 4 PC's to get it working again. I went out of town for 5 days, got back, and now this one machine just won't send audio anymore. I'm stumped and perplexed.
