I asked for this on the previous v4 wish list but since it didn't make it into v4, I'm making into a standalone feature request, with more detail about why I think it would be useful.

I'd like to see the "Group by" functionality in Windows 10/11 folders be replicated in Fences 4 folder portals, especially "Group by Date modified".

This would be helpful particularly to me with my Downloads folder due to my frequent evaluation and upgrades of apps, where in regular Windows folders I can see files/folders separated into groups like "Today", "Yesterday", "Earlier this week", "Last week", "Last month", "Earlier this year", and "A long time ago". This gives me a good overview of what previously downloaded items I'm looking at without having to squint at the dates. It's just a friendlier organization of what's there that makes me at least feel more productive when I'm looking at the items. I guess you can say it's an idiom that more closely fits how my brain would assess them after scouring the dates.

I can see this also being beneficial for writers as well with regards to the Documents folder, or photographers regarding the Pictures folder, to get a quick mental picture of their activity on various projects.

I hope this feature can be implemented in Fences at some point. Thanks for reading.
