The issue:

While on my secondary device (a work laptop with a secondary display), I occasionally experience the following issues. These issues occur probably only 5% of my work week but often happen for a few seconds (between 5 and 20) over several times and are super annoying.

The following occurs at random, but most recently while using Adobe and dragging a shape on the screen.

• My mouse will start severely lagging. Not just slow down but it actually skips frames as it moves. Probably jumping in 10-20pixel increments as it moves about my screen tracing out whatever movements I had made at the time it happens.
• My primary computer will start beeping once per second until the lagging ends and everything goes back to normal.

There is a secondary issue I've experienced that happens with certain software such as Articulate 360 Storyline while moving my mouse over top the scene window in the Story View mode (not clicking or dragging or interacting, just moving the mouse across the screen) but not in any other area of that software. I don't recall where else this has happened but I know other software has triggered this issue as well.

• The mouse experience severe lag, though it does NOT skip frames as with the previous example. Also, the speakers do not beep as with the previous example.
• As soon as the mouse passes through whatever object I had moused over, it resumes operating like normal, free of lag until I mouse over it again.

My setup:

Primary PC - Custom-built Desktop Computer. Windows 11, all drivers are up to date. I recently replaced the Graphics Card, but had this issue prior to that. Mouse is a Logitech G502 Hero but I do not have the G-Suite software installed on either system. I recently formatted the hard drive and re-installed windows on it (about a month ago), this issue has been around prior to that happening.

Secondary PC - Work Laptop (HP Fury). Windows 11, all drivers are up to date. It's also fairly new, only about 3 - 3.5 months old.

Third display - I have a 3rd display that is attached to an HDMI Splitter that I use to toggle the display as a secondary display for my work and home computers. It's usually set to be my work's secondary display. I typically set whichever machine isn't using it to duplicate the desktop across displays, and the one that is using it to extend the desktop across displays, as even if they're not using the display, the computer still detects a second screen is connected. Not sure if this is relevant, but I thought I'd mention it.

Network - Both computers are connected via ethernet cables to my Verizon Fios - network router. I have a good strong network connection and have not experienced any other issues with my network wired or wireless.

I'm pretty sure Multiplicity is the culprit for these issues as both computers seem to function fine on their own such as when I turn my work laptop off for the weekend, my desktop does not experience this issue ever. It only seems to happen when both are running and my mouse is controlling the secondary laptop.

Any help in troubleshooting or resolving this issue would be appreciated.
