Hello, I'm running on Windows 10 version 19043.1202.
I updated windows, then my graphics driver and rebooted.
The windows update is here: "KB5005101 (OS Builds 19041.1202, 19042.1202, and 19043.1202) Preview"
And I installed the latest Nvidia Driver 471.96.
It's normal (for me) for my fence positions among other things to get messed up during a video driver install, but this time it seems fences is unable to go back to where it was. It appears that a rather old layout (maybe 3 or 4 weeks old) is applied instead.
When I go to my list of fences snapshots and restore an old one, the old layout is applied briefly, but then everything snaps back to the very old layout.
So, to me it seems that the core issue is that fences is trying to restore an old layout that works, and my recent layouts are rejected for some reason.
It's a minor inconvenience but I would like to know how to solve it.
(I have already tried the newest fences release and I spent several hours recovering from it / trying to get it to work. This is why I'm not upgrading to the newest version. Many thanks to those who are putting effort into debugging the latest update.)
