Can a Fences' "snapshot" include the desktop's icon size? It would save us the extra step (and the aggravation
) of having to change the icon size on the desktop settings manually every time we switch to a smaller or larger display/monitor.
When I switch to a display/monitor with a different resolution, and I restore a "snapshot" I had created for that specific display/monitor, the fences I had created are resized and distributed according to they way I had sized and arranged them when I took the snapshot. So far so good. However, the size of the icons seems to not be captured in the snapshot, and be determined by whichever icon size I had in use on the desktop setting while using the previous display/monitor.
For example, if I was using a larger display/monitor (say 3840 x 2160) and on my desktop settings I had specified medium (size) icons, when I switch to a smaller display/monitor (say 1280 x 1024) and restore a "snapshot" I had created for that smaller display/monitor, the icons would look disproportionately larger for the smaller sizes of the fences I had created for that display/monitor. So, I right-click on my desktop, choose the View menu option and change the icon size to the smaller "Classic Icons". Now the smaller icons look proportional to the smaller fences I had created for that smaller display/monitor. However, when I switch back to the larger display/monitor (3840 x 2160) and restore a "snapshot" I had created for that larger display/monitor, the icons would look disproportionately smaller for the larger fences I had created for the larger display/monitor. So, I have to go change the icon size manually again.
It would be great if a "snapshot" would carry information about the desktop's icon-size setting, such that when you switch displays/monitors and restore a "snapshot" that works well for that display/monitor you don't have to adjust the icon size manually if you were using a different icon size on your desktop with your previous display/monitor.
