Ryzen 1800x performance

Hey everyone,

a few days ago I decided to get a new PC and got me the following:

Ryzen 1800X
ASUS PRIME X370-PRO
Corsair DDR4 16GB 3200MHz (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16)
GTX1080TI Asus 11GB Ram

I'm kind of irritated though because I only get around ~45 fps in the CPU benchmark in Ashes. I found this benchmark before, where a similar system gets ~80fps.My RAM is running at 3200 MHz. 

The game should be fully patched (via Steam), my RAM is running at 3200 MHz. Is there anything else I can do to improve the framerate?

Are you sure the other system ran the CPU benchmark?

I don't think the CPU benchmark really matters anyway, the GPU one and normal gameplay is what matters.

The CPU benchmark is purely for comparing with other systems and is not that relevant to what you get in-game.

Having said that, there isn't a mainstream CPU on the planet that has got even close to 80FPS in the CPU benchmark. For an actual gameplay related benchmark you will want to run the GPU benchmark and then yes, you might hit 80FPS depending on resolution and settings etc.
