Just to bring attention... I received the notice to update to 3.0.5 of Fences. Love the software and so I gladly updated. A few days passed and I noticed that when I drag an icon on my desktop to another spot on the desktop, a ghost of it sticks to the mouse (as expected) but once it is moved and the mouse button is released, there is (not sure if it is intended or not) almost animation-like re-enactment of the move with the icon that takes a second or two to play out to make the move. Traditionally, if you click an icon and drag it to a new location on the desktop, it is transferred to the new location in a snap. I don't find a setting in Fences to turn such an experience off or on (which makes me think it's a glitch). I rolled back to version 3.0.3... problem is gone. I spent half a day Google-ing what might cause "moving icons around on the desktop in Windows 10 is slow or lagging". It was simply on a whim that I tried to uninstall Fences, which fixed the problem. So I installed the older version and the problem stayed away.
Thought you should know...
