Hello all,
I recently added a second monitor to my computer and I want to use two separate desktops. One on each monitor. So I am trying to decide which software I should get. Ordinarily I would just go with DisplayFusion because I have used that in the past and it does what I want it to do.
However, eventually I am going to be forced to update my computer to Windows 10 (probably in a year or two when I update my computer with a new processor and motherboard. Is anyone else beginning to hate Microsoft?) Since I cannot stand Windows 10 (for several reasons but here the appearance is the most relevant thing here), I will probably be using Stardocks entire suite of applications when I am forced to upgrade. I used it in the past and I have always liked it; though with Windows 7 I was happy with my desktop as is.
As a result of this eventual "necessity," I am researching Stardock's virtual desktop feature and have a few questions. How capable is the Virtual Desktop feature of Object Desktop? Can I use two at the same time? One on each monitor? Can I create a second one for each monitor as well? Can those desktops each have their own Taskbar? (i.e. one on each monitor?) How easy is it to move an application from one desktop to the other?
