Problems with new rating system

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone else had the same problems as me when using the ratings. When I rate a theme it says "Rating Saved" and then the "Click This To Rate" text disappears. Although when I refresh the page the "Click This To Rate" text reappears. I find myself re-rating the same themes/skins over and over again.

It would be much better if it was to remove the text all together once you have rated it and/or it would only appear when you hovered over the stars.

Anywho, thats my only problem so far. Other then that, great site.

Hey Steve.

Thanks for using WinCustomize. What you are noticing is not a bug and actually it's due to caching. When you rate a skin, your rating goes in to a queue. This queue may take a minute to update. During this process, if you refresh the page before it actually gets rated, there is some overlap. Not to worry if you happen to rate the same skin again because we have checks setup that only allow your vote to count once.

Well it's not so much one time though. Every skin has the 'Click To Rate' even after I have rated them all. It never goes away, with the exception of when I rate it. It's gone until I see that page again, when it returns. I just think it would be easier if once it was rated the 'Click To Rate' text was no longer showing.

We've always been able to re-rate skins. The only difference is the old site told us what our previous rating was.

The only reason I am having a problem is there is no way to tell what I have rated and have not rated. I don't want to be re-rating something everytime I see it because I can't remember if I had rated it already or not.

I agree, at least you could tell when you rated someone on the old site. Here you don't know.
