Hello,
I have previously had problems with Fences and certificates, I have added that thread in these forums as a link in this post.
My workplace has pushed some new security settings and fences won't run. When I go to fences.exe -> properties -> Digital Signatures, I can select the "Stardock Corporation" signature and press the "Details" button.
Windows shows an error icon and says "The revocation process could not continue - the certificate(s) could not be checked."
When I go to the View Certificate button, I get an error "Windows cannot determine the validity of this certificate because it cannot locate a valid certificate revocation list from the certification authority that issued this certificate."
I can see at the bottom that it is Issued by: "COMODO Code Signing CA 2" and valid from 10/3/2011 to 10/3/2014.
So it appears that something has expired. I have already tried downloading "AddTrustExternalCARoot" from COMODO's site and installing it but that hasn't worked.
Before I go on, is there any advice that stardock can offer? Is there a newer exe? (I'm running 2.13).
Thanks!
