The_Gear,
Just trying to understand your reply.
I have Fences running on a Window 8 computer. Fences was a component of a one year subscription of Object Desktop that has expired. I assume that the subscription allowed me to access upgrades to OD components, that Fences will continue to run at the present version until I do the Win 10 upgrade and then require an updated version of Fences to maintain its functionality, which I will not be able to access because of the expired subscription.
I want to propagate Fences to my other two PCs (I do not want to install Object Desktop), one of which has already been updated to Win10.
I have been trying to figure out how many copies of Fences I need to buy. I assumed that the Fences license was a single PC license. Does the fact that you can install Fences 5 times really mean you can reinstall on the one PC 5 times, or that you can install one copy on 5 separate PCs (ie the activation process cannot distinguish between a reinstall on one pc and the other and therefore installing on multiple pcs might be contrary to the license)? The former will require me to buy only 1 license whereas the latter will require me to buy 3.
