Hey Devs,
I've been playing this game Coop over the weekend with a friend and we love the game. But we have had some issues with getting past the second Coop map where you have to destroy 8 meteors.
First off the AI starts off attacking you at the start of the game. I think there should be a timer set so that the player can get settled in for at least a min or two.
Also, the AI is very hard to take down. the units seem to be over powered, they do way to much damage and you are out numbered very early on.
Secondly, the meteors themselves seem to have to much health. It takes a lot to destroy just one meteor.
We must have tried this map at least 25 times and at best we only were able to take out 4 meteors. After about 10 or 12 mins in the Meteors are spawning way to many Creeps to deal with. You get over run very quickly and there is nothing you can do to stop that many creatures. Has anyone else beaten this map? If so, how?
Also, our Mechs hit points, either we don't have enough hit points or the AI is just doing far to much damage per hit to you. I think this needs to be turned down a bit. The creeps should not be as uber as they are and doing that kind of damage to us.
I think if you guys turned down the damage they do, it would balance out the game better.
Especially in the early stages of this map. You have to give the player a little more time to get some of the research completed so that we can at least have a chance to counter the AIs rush.
Health Bars over the Mech are to large. can we get an option to make these smaller?
Key Binding, will we be able to rebind keys in a future patch?
Healing buildings, 2 percent per second is a bit low, Is there any chance this will get changes to say 5 percent per second? as it is now, it takes a long time to get any healing completed.
Walls, is there any chance that walls will get added to the game so we can build them?
The UI. The UI is really big, I'm being serious when I say it looks like you guys took Star Crafts UI and placed it in this game. That is just old school looking and ugly as hell. Please consider fixing the UI and making it feel like something in this day and age. Sin of the Solar Empire for instance has one of the best UI's I've ever used. its slimmed sown and easy to use and is not something that takes up one quarter of the screen.
Coop hosted game options, Are there any plans to add options? it would be nice if we could have a few options. Like increased starting money, A slider bar for difficulty.
Bloom Cap at 2K Can we please get this upped a bit? say 5K As it is now, its to low. capping us at 2K is a bit ridiculous.
So basically,
1. Slow down the AI's rush on this map. Slow down the meteor spawns rate after you take out a meteor.
2. Balance the AIs damage they are doing to us. "Less damage per hit"
3. Meteors hit points are way to high, lower them a bit.
4. XP and Loot rewards need to turned up. "Yes, I saw your replies to this"
5. Need more Coop maps to play on. Also maps need to be bigger. Maps are to small.
6. Will there be map tools released so we can make our own missions?
7. Health Bars need to be smaller, way to big now.
8. Key binding, we need the ability to rebind keys.
9. Healing, to slow, would be nice if this got some love and turned up a bit.
10. Building walls or barriers. would be really nice if these were added.
11. UI, the UI in its current form feels like something taken right out of Star Craft. Its just way to big and needs to be slimmed down. Hopefully you guys will look at fixing this or allow us to size it.
12. Coop Hosting Options. As explained earlier. would be nice if this was added.
13. Increase the Bloom Cap from 2K
14. Fun game, looking forward to future patch 1.0
Thanks Devs, like I said the game is a lot of fun, but please balance out the game so we have a chance to survive that map.
