Whenever using the search function Windows explorer jumps to anywhere from 20 to 99% CPU usage, even after the search returns results and I hit enter or click on the result I want. It seems obvious that a full system search continues even after the results are returned. This is so annoying that I cannot use start8 until it is fixed, as I have to restart explorer after every start8 search or wait several minutes for it to settle so the computer can be used for high intensity tasks again.
I have Start8 set to not look for files outside the standard libraries, and I wish I could control where it searched further. I really don't want start8 to search for anything other than applications - which is probably how most people use their start menu. If I want a document, I go to the documents folder and search for it. If I want music, I open my media player. Please provide an option to not search any libraries, just applications.
