In the most recent patch during the selection phase it now provides feedback on if you will get a bonus claim.
I think it would be helpful to also show the host map settings in the area where the bonus claims are shown.
Pretty much every game I play, once selection begins, I forget what map settings the host has set. These being Map size, resource min, resource presence.
It's actually really important to know these settings as it will/should dictate your settlement strategy. So I just think it would be an improvement to re-publish this information context in-game during settlement.
One could say that part of being a good player is memorizing these settings so you have the advantage during settlement. But the most recent patch that provides feedback on claim bonuses has already destroyed that taboo. So I think it should also re-publish the map settings. In my opinion auto calcing bonus claims and map settings is a positive thing and makes the game more accessible, enjoyable and does not detract from high level play.
