The Sleep and Hibernate options are not being removed from the Start8 Shut down button menu when I uncheck them in the Shutdown settings in the Power Options (search for "Change what the power buttons do"). They are removed from the Windows Tiled Interface Shut down options, but not from the Start8 Shut down options. Running powercfg -h off on the command line removes Hibernate, but I cannot do the same for sleep.
I noticed that there is a post of someone not being able to get the sleep option at all, so perhaps this is related?
My new SSD doesn't seem to play nice with my old motherboard and keeps crashing when waking from sleep. I want that option hidden so I don't accidentally click it. I've updated all motherboard drivers and firmware and it still happens with the SSD, but sleep works fine with an HDD. It's not my main computer so I don't mind not being able to put it to sleep.
Any ideas on how I can remove the sleep option?
Thanks.
