A couple of questions about the shortcuts on the right hand side ...
1) How do I change the sort order?
2) The shortcuts seem to point to library items (which I hate) ... how do I make them point to the real user folder?

The order is fixed as it is on Windows 7.
You can add your own custom items to the list, so to avoid the libraries just disable the standard ones and use the custom options for the folders you want.
