Finding & Creating a Custom Windows 7 orb start button icon

I recently had to uninstall and reinstall my start8 and I am trying to figure out how to get the old windows 7 orb icons as my start button. I used to have this so it is driving me nuts that I can't figure out how I did it before. If anyone could help, that would be GREAT. Thanks, Brian

I don't believe a Windows 7 button is included, but you can browse through WinCustomize as there's plenty of custom icons there.

Download this PNG file & copy it to the folder that contains your other Start8 start buttons (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Start8\StartButtons).

Then, from Start8's Style configuration screen, choose "Custom image" and select that file as your start button image.

You'll now have a start orb that resembles Windows 7's.
