Hi guys, I'm giving Tiles a go and added a Chrome tile page which I'd like to show all the opened browser tabs. Is that possible? Right now it only shows the tab currently being viewed.
Thanks
Ok then, let me ask you this. I'm using the show system tray icons option but the arrow that shows hidden icons is invisible on most of the skins except the default ones that came with Tiles. It's because if I hover over that area it shows me a tooltip and then I can click on it.
Anyone else experience that?
There is a special setting somewhere in chrome to allow it to expose each tab to explorer. If that is enabled then Tiles will also see each tab as it does for IE.
On the other issue, which skin are you using?
Thanks Neil, I tried using Metropolis and Eros skins, the hidden icons arrow is invisible on both. Of the skins that came preinstalled with Tiles only the Extra Large Tiles Mode skin has this issue as well.
Neil would you please write here where is that option for Chrome. I cannot find it anywhere.
something here maybe? chrome://flags/
Tiles is unusable at the moment for me due to that limitation.
What am i trying to find?

It shouldn't be unusable without that though as it also only shows as one taskbar item so that's the same for tiles and the taskbar.
EDIT : It seems google removed that flag from later versions of chrome : http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?can=2&start=0&num=100&q=&colspec=ID%20Pri%20Mstone%20ReleaseBlock%20Area%20Feature%20Status%20Owner%20Summary&groupby=&sort=&id=8036
Complaints on that would need to go to Google as we can only show the tabs when the application exposes them to the OS, and for reasons unknown to me, and everyone else on that thread they are no longer doing so.
Internet Explorer, VMware and some other apps all correctly use the OS apis to expose the tabs and Tiles will show them all.
Firefox can support them if you follow these steps : http://www.groovypost.com/howto/firefox/configure-enable-aero-peek-preview-with-firefox-tabs/
I will try if other Chrome forks have that flag like Dragon or chromium, etc.
Thanks a lot for your reply.
Neil, any ideas on the invisible Show Hidden Icons button bug? It seems only the third party skins have this, is that normal?
Thanks.
