Animations Won't Stay On

On the main Windows FX page, whenever I flick it to On, it switches back off.

I had the same issue.

Reboot your PC, and run the installer again.

Some reason the service file was removed (I noticed this through the utility autoruns - sysinternals)

Just ran a install again, problem solved.

I occasionally have to disable WinFX, then reenable it when it stops working. Dunno why.
