Highlight Newly Installed Applications not workng

I just installed Start8 v1.31 to a fresh install of Windows 8.1 Pro. I noticed the "Highlight Newly Installed Applications" option is not working on this installation. It is not real big deal, but I wonder how to get it working. I do believe it is working on other Windows installations.
