Hi,

I'm trying out Start8 and for setting up my mother in laws new Win 8 computer. It's my first experience with Win 8 and I find it rather awkward. I think your programs here will go a long way toward fixing it  

Two questions I have run across though - with Start8, the feature that I was most interested in was that apps can be pinned to the old style desktop's taskbar.

I'm having trouble doing that though. For example, with her 'hearts deluxe' and 'free minesweeper' games, I don't see a way to put them on the taskbar. I don't see them on the win 7/start8 start menu either. Is there a way to do this?

Also with mondernmix, when an app is run, when closed, it always returns to the old style desktop rather than the new metro UI. I want to return to whatever the app was launched from - but no matter what mondernmix setting I choose on 'advanced' window, it always returns to the old style desktop when an app is closed.

Suggestions?
