In Start8 group policy setting "Start button style", selecting "Flag" does not display the Windows flag icon unless the policy setting is changed to another option first and then changed back to "Flag".
The problem can be reproduced by the following steps:
1. Make sure the test user in does not yet have a profile on the test computer
2. In the GPO->User Configuration, enable the "Start button style" setting and choose the Mode: Flag.
3. Log in as a user who will have the GPO applied. The Flag start button is not displayed.
4. In regedit, look at the value HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8\StartButtonMode. It is 2 (it should be 0)
5. Logging out and back in still will not set this value correctly.
6. Log off the test user.
7. In the GPO->User Configuration, change Mode to Start8 Logo.
8. Log back in as the test user. The logo has correctly changed to the Start8 Logo.
9. Log off the test user.
10. In the GPO->User Configuration, change Mode to Flag.
11. Log the test user in - now the logo is correct.
