Hello All!

I was wondering. Is there a guide out there for making your own custom Start8 buttons?

I have seen one post where someone said it just needs to be 3 images stacked on top of each other: normal, hover, and activate. What I need is more detailed information such as what is the maximum height and/or width? Exactly how does Start8 divide up the images? What does the aspect ratio need to be? etc.

The main reason why I am asking is because I have already tried to create some buttons with success but I was using a template (not really a template but one of the buttons that comes with Start8). I then tried to make a new one from scratch. I wanted borders around the Start8 button but no matter what I tried the borders weren't showing on the top/bottom of the taskbar, only the sides. I tried stretching the image, re-sizing the canvas, etc. but I just couldn't get it to work unless I made the width really high and the height really low. I want my button to be square not rectangular so I didn't like the fact that I had to stretch it so much.

Anyway, if someone knows of a guide or website or whatever on the specifics of how Start8 parses button images that would be great!
