Questions from returning player

Looking for maps and galaxy forge

I recently bought a new laptop and got rebellion during the recent steam sale. I'm trying to find where to get rebellion compatible maps and the rebellion galaxy forge. I also want to update old maps to current compatibility

The new galaxy forge is located in the game's install folder.

There is no official way to update old maps, but there is a fan made tool that can do the job out there.

Also, I just looked in the folder under my games in my documents and there is a galaxy forge folder but no galaxy forge app.

The my games directory is for all user content, saves, mods maps, settings etc. The actual app is in Rebellion's install folder with the .exe file.

Yes, thank you I found it. 
Its kinda different from the old one. I guess I'll have to get used to it lol 

Do you have a link for the map updater though? I had dozens of maps I spent probably hundreds of hours on.

I think it is in the modding section somewhere and it was made by harpo, but I have not used it myself.
