I was one that pre-ordered War of Magic and felt hugely let down.  I never did have a chance to play anything but the beta of FE, but after receiving  an email that I had a copy of LH sitting waiting for me, I broke down and gave it a shot.....

And LH has finally gotten that 'one more turn' feel that I never felt with the previous two incarnations.  Its not a perfect game for sure, but I don't know of anything else quite like it, and am having a blast.  Fun times.  Almost doesn't feel fair that I have not paid a dime for it (almost).  Thanks for stepping up and doing right by your customers.

I am still jaded about pre-ordering (from any dev/publisher) but that is ultimately smart consumerism, so better off there anyway.

My biggest complaint right now is the limitations of the modding tools.  Manually messing with the .xml files is an activity I do not enjoy.  (Trying to make a custom race/faction/abilites/weapons/scenerios that fit withing the lore of the game-  uuhg, did get dual wield swords to work though-yay!)
