Whats interesting about this laptops performance is it hardly even bothers to max out the fans-nor do i notice or hear them during game play and during a medium random ico game. I concluded that this behavior was due to the fact that i set all my settings to low, no shadows, empire trees disabled, lowest engine trail and disabled debris, asteroids etc. 

lol in all my life i have never played a more silent sins game and i was estatic!

CPU & Graphics Performance

I think its safe to say that the use of 1 or 2 threads between the system and the game was all that was going on out of 8 threads. I can't really know what exactly the GPUs where doing here because with silent operations on low settings i then concluded i could just be using the HD4000 instead of the Nvidia GT650m. The HD4000 in this case triumps my sold a6 apu Hp G6 laptop. 

SSD and memory

i turned off the page file because of the 8gb of ddr3 installed and i can honestly say this decision always further enhances the performance of any game. I couldn't completely fully test this but the system overall was a lot faster besides there being an ssd.

Windows 8 (with the latest updates-no crash so far)

The performance is of-course excellent but the start menu is not so much. I recommend windows going for a launch pad look that still displays the task bar and can create folders like IOS to store the apps.
