this is a new features I would be interested to see in Start 8: from the start menu, in addition to "recent files", have a link to "recent places"

this virtual folder already exists in Windows, so it should be easy

if you want to add this, it could be even further enhanced if it is displayed with a custom sort, based on the number of hits. this is probably much more difficult to achieve, but also very valuable if it can be done. if not possible, sorting by last access time at a minimum.
