[0.75] Magnar and masterwork chainmail

I dont know if anyone else noticed but magnar has masterwork chain mail. I'm not sure if it's a bug or a design decision but magnar shouldn't have masterwork chain mail. I'd suggest giving them some sort of Ethereal armor.

Free chainmail for everybody!

 

Seriously though, I think Magnar should lose the chain mail, and instead give Kraxis light plate.  Makes more sense than 3 factions having the same trait.

Masterwork chain should count as chain,

 

Light plate should count as plate, and Gildar should be able to choose between chain/light plate.

Maybe GIldar should get masterwork plate instead.

 

I'd like to see masterwork leather for all factions as well late in the tree, or dragon hide armor.

i've seen masterwork chain on other premade factions before. i guess it has something to do with the 0 point cost of the trade. might also just be a display glitch - haven't actually started a game with one of them to see if it's only on the game setup or actually in game, too.

be as it may it's ruining faction uniqueness and just makes masterwork chain mail seem so bland now.

Yeah- dont think of Magnar as masters of mobillity like Tarth and Umbar.

I think of the Quender as dragon-elf overloards in imposing black plate leading hordes of poorly armed/armored slaves.  If anything, light plate makes more sense for them.
